After many leaks and teases, Google has finally revealed the Pixel 10 family. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL hit shelves on August 28, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is coming on October 9.

Despite global economic uncertainty that has seen electronics manufacturers increase prices, Google has kept Pixel 10 pricing in line with last year's models—and that's not taking into account any price drops or deals for the Pixel lineup

The latest Pixels continue Google's emphasis on AI features, including contextually aware "Magic Cue," which can inject relevant content into other apps. Bringing up a flight booking from your inbox while you're making a call to the airline, for example.

Before we go into the full details, the starting price for a Pixel 10 is still $799 for a 128GB model. The Pixel 10 Pro starts at $999 for a 128GB model, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL starts at $1,199 for a 256GB model. Lastly, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has its $1,799 starting price. Check the table below for more storage and price options across the Pixel 10 lineup.

Pixel 10 hardware and specs

The Pixel 10 series comes with some fresh hardware across the board.

On the hardware front, all four phones are powered by the new Tensor G5 processor, which Google says has its most significant increase in performance yet. The Pixel 10 has a zoom lens for the first time, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has the highest IP rating of any foldable to date, and every device benefits from MagSafe-like "Pixelsnap" wireless charging.

Here's a complete rundown of how the Pixel 10 family compare in terms of hardware:

There are a couple of hardware changes across the entire Pixel 10 family. To start, every new device is powered by Google's in-house Tensor G5 chipset. While Google has historically not made a big deal about performance increases or "speeds and feeds," this year it's boasting that the CPU is 34% faster. The chipset also has a new Image Signal Processor for improved image and video quality.

All Pixel 10 devices now feature Qi2 wireless charging, which Google is calling Pixelsnap. Similar to iPhone's MagSafe, the technology enables magnetic wireless charging, as well as other accessories like grips and stands. Notably, the Pixel 10 phones will work with MagSafe accessories. The Pixel 10 Pro XL has the 25W wireless charging speeds, making it the fastest of the bunch. The other three phones max out at 15W. On a related note, every Pixel 10 also has a slightly larger battery than its predecessor.

And lastly, all Pixel 10 devices have Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back, an IP68 water-resistance rating, and will receive seven years of major operating system and security updates. This is unchanged from last year's models, other than in the case of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. While the Pixel 9 Pro Fold had an IPX8 rating, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold improves this to IP68. This means the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also dust resistant, marking the first time we've seen this spec on a foldable phone.

When it comes to the individual phones, the standard Pixel 10's key change is a new camera setup. The Pixel 10 is the first "entry-level" Pixel phone to get three rear-facing cameras. These include a 48MP primary lens, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10.8MP 5x zoom lens. The primary lens and ultra-wide on paper seem like a downgrade from the 50MP and 48MP lenses on last year's Pixel 9, but we'll need to test the phones to see how performance actually compares.

The main change unique to the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL is a brighter, more power-efficient display. Cameras are unchanged from last year. These include a 50MP primary lens, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP 5x zoom lens. The Pixel 10 Pro XL also benefits from revamped speakers, promising more powerful bass and stereo audio.

Last but not least is the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Google says it has entirely re-engineered the phone's hinge to make it more durable. Similarly, the internal display has been reinforced with "anti-impact films" to give the Pixel 10 Pro Fold a better chance of surviving drops. The external display is a little larger at 6.4-inch, but the internal display is still an 8-inch panel. As with the other Pixel 10 Pro models, cameras are unchanged on the Fold. You still get a 48MP primary lens, a 10.5MP ultra-wide, and a 10.8MP 5x zoom lens.

When it comes to colors, the Pixel 10 is available in Frost, Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Indigo. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are available in a choice of Obsidian, Porcelain, Jade, or Moonstone. And the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is available in Jade or Moonstone.

AI features of the Pixel 10 series

On the AI front, there are naturally a few new features.

These are available across the entire Pixel 10 family and include the following:

  • Magic Cue: Magic Cue proactively surfaces contextual information across apps on your Pixel. For example, if you're calling an airline, Magic Cue can bring up your flight details in the phone app as you place the call. Or if you're replying to a friend asking about a planned dinner, Magic Cue can pull the reservation details if you're the one who made the booking.
  • Daily Hub: Daily Hub is a new briefing pane, similar to Samsung's Now Brief, that pulls info about your day in one place.
  • Take a Message: If you miss or decline a phone call, this feature will give you real-time transcripts from the call, and suggest next steps.
  • Live Translate: Like recent Samsung flagships such as the Galaxy S25 family, the Pixel 10 family can automatically translate between languages in phone calls. Google's twist on this is that the translation will be read in the caller's voice, rather than a generic robot voice.
  • Camera Coach: Camera Coach offers suggestions for shot composition when taking photos
  • Auto Best Take: Building on Best Take from past models, Auto Best combines similar group photos into one for a result where everyone is looking at the camera.
