Spectrum Mobile Cell Phone Plans
Spectrum Mobile follows Xfinity's (i.e. Comcast's) playbook almost to a tee with their cell phone plans. As with Xfinity Mobile, Spectrum Mobile gives you the option of choosing a low cost, $45 unlimited plan or getting an unlimited talk/text plan and paying by the gig ($14, two bucks more than Xfinity) for your data.
Note the similarities not only in Spectrum Mobile and Xfinity Mobile's offerings, but their websites as well. Here's Xfinity Mobile:

Spectrum Mobile Network
In yet another similarity with Xfinity, Spectrum Mobile runs on "America's largest, most reliable 4G LTE network"—i.e. Verizon.
That's one big upside to going with Spectrum Mobile for your wireless service. After all, $45 for unlimited data on what really is the top network in the U.S. is something of a steal. Check out Verizon's coverage map below, or jump over to our Verizon coverage guide.
Spectrum touts their national matrix of hotspots as a faster way to connect on your phone. However, Spectrum's half-a-million hotspots seems puny compared to Xfinity's 18 million.
Who Can Sign Up for Spectrum Mobile?
Spectrum Mobile is limited to current Charter Spectrum internet customers. New internet subscribers who have been with the company for less than 30 days can sign up for a maximum of two lines of wireless service.
It's also important to know that you'll need to buy a new phone from Spectrum Mobile to sign up for a plan or you can bring your own compatible iPhone. Unfortunately Spectrum Mobile doesn't accept phones other than iPhones for BYOP plans.
